Definition

A strong pull to gamble, usually arriving as a physical feeling before it arrives as a thought. Urges rise, peak, and fall on their own, typically within 20–30 minutes, whether or not you act on them.

Preferred phrasing

"an urge" rather than "weakness" or "temptation."
